JESUS - the Servant King, the Christ, the Son of God (January 23-24):

posted Jan 6, 2015, 2:19 PM by Shannon Vietmeier
During the coming year, the majority of our gospel readings in worship will come from the Gospel of Mark. In an attempt to prepare to hear the Gospel, you are invited to  participate in a day-retreat to experience, question, ponder, and learn more about the Gospel.
What you need to know:
-- Our time together will begin Friday evening at 6p with supper.
-- We will witness a one-man drama, a word-for-word retelling of the   Gospel of Mark.
-- We will reconvene on Saturday morning (9a) for large group studies and small group discussions around major themes and episodes of the Gospel.
-- The day will end with a worship experience of Holy Week (Palm     Sunday to Easter morning) and we will be done by 4p.
-- We will be asking for a free will donation to cover costs of meals, the performance, and materials.
-- Bring your Bible, invite a friend, and join us for this encounter of JESUS: the Servant King, the Christ, the Son of God.
We will need assistance to serve the meal Friday evening and Saturday noon.  We may also be looking for people to open their homes to guests who come from other churches in the area. Please contact Pastor Culynn or Jean if you are interested in helping. Thank you!
