Dear Friends in Christ -

Every once in a while, do you ever feel a little less than up-to-par? Not that you are empty, just a little less than your usual? It isn't often that I feel that way, but I had noticed that I was starting to run out of steam in the last weeks. So, this past weekend, I went on a retreat. My parents had been involved for years, but now just seemed like the best time - as a new dad, as a weary leader, as a sinner in need of God's grace! The weekend did not disappoint. It was renewing, inspiring, and rejuvenating.
We all have times when we feel a little less than ourselves. Whether it is our schedule, the demands of family and work, or the chaos of the world, we have a deep need to recharge. But where we turn for those renewing and transformative moments is crucial. Learning to seek Christ as the source of our life and faith is vital to our existence. May you know yourself well enough to know when you need these moments. But more importantly, may our ministry together point you to the One who is our All-in-All.
