Dear Friends in Christ -

I recently came across this picture on Facebook. The frigid air combined with moisture caused a rapid freeze on the trees that surround a little cottage. The light is on inside and has the warm glow of a cozy fire and I imagine there is a strong cup of coffee and either a good book or good conversation.

That window speaks volumes into that picture. What could have been a dismal winter scene, that window speaks life and hope and joy. The same is true for the words of Holy Scripture. God's Word is a lamp onto our feet; it is a light that is shining into the darkness; it is a word that leads to freedom. Some years ago, I heard someone say, "If your Bible acts as your alarm clock stand, you've probably got the wrong idea."

The Church is built on the words of Holy Scripture. The Bible is the source of our faith and the norm of our life. As of this morning, we have received only 21 responses to the Bible survey. If we want to strengthen our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, we need to commit ourselves to the Word. As your pastor and leaders of this congregation, we want to help you in your daily/weekly walk with the Lord. Please take time to complete the survey by the end of the day on Friday

Thank you -
Pastor Culynn
