Dear Friends in Christ -

Beginning last night, Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) are gathered together for the Annual Gathering. This year, Bruce & Jill S are representing us there. I will be dialed in online (and you also can join in at lcmc.net/live). This year's theme is about DNA - the very fiber of our association. LCMC is built upon the fact that we are "free in Christ, accountable to one another, and rooted in the Scriptures & the Lutheran Confessions."
As they explore this DNA, it gives me pause also to explore Holy Cross' DNA, which we have called The God-Fashioned Life. It is my hope that we will continue to grow into our new identity which we received in Christ through His Word and represent to one another and the world as we continue to bound together as His Body in the world.

Blessings on your week -
Pastor Culynn
