Dear Friends in Christ -

Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. The ministry and witness of Martin Luther sparked a revolution in theology. What we as Lutherans now take as common place, Luther had to articulate for the first time.

Yesterday, we celebrated in Word and song. We were reminded that it’s not about the history or Luther. It’s not about our little blue church or even about us. Instead, the message of the Reformation is STILL All about Jesus! I pray our work together will continue to spread that message far and wide, so that others will know the forgiveness, peace, hope, and joy we have in knowing and believing in Jesus Christ.

Grateful for the Message!
