Dear Friends in Christ -

Tomorrow, our son Oliver turns two-years-old. It is hard for us to remember what life was like without him. At the same time, we know that we are not out of the woods. Every new day presents new joys and challenges, celebrations and sorrows.
The same is true of our life of faith. The way that things were and the way that things are when we encounter the mercy and grace of God are never the same. While we still struggle with temptation and sin, there is forgiveness and freedom found through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While we are never out of the woods from all that the world and the devil will throw our way, we can know for certain that God is faithful to meet us where we are and journey with us--that we might know is constant presence through his Holy Spirit.
Thankful for Faith -
