Dear Friends in Christ -

posted May 15, 2017, 2:53 PM by Shannon Vietmeier
On Sunday, we read an entire book of the Bible. Well, it was only 25 verses, but in this personal note from Paul, we learn that the message of Jesus calls us to lives that are congruent with faith.

Since the beginning of Lent, I have been having some very important conversations with the council, my pastoral support committee, and other Christians both inside and outside of our congregation. One of the unique challenges that the church faces is helping individuals, couples, and families understand the connections between their Baptism and the Christian faith every day of their life. We do not want to live aimlessly, nor do we require some new kind of holy works to be done. But how can our mutual ministry help all of us to live intentionally from the commitments of our faith.

If you haven't thought about this, give it a little head space. If you have some thoughts, please pass them on; we'd love to hear from you.
