Dear Friends in Christ -

On Saturday, a group of parents and students met with Jean and me to prepare for their First Communion. I am so thankful that our church continues to be deeply rooted in the Scriptures, Lutheran theology, and fellowship. We had a great time learning and discussing the Sacrament; truly only scratching the surface of its deep meaning and gift.

On Wednesday, we gather for our last Lenten midweek service. Then we will gather on Sunday for the Holiest of Weeks. This is the high point of the Christian story, the climax of the Biblical narrative. I hope and pray that your faith in the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ will be strengthened and nurtured as we observe Holy Week together.
