Dear Friends in Christ -

posted Feb 27, 2017, 2:19 PM by Shannon Vietmeier
On Sunday, we said farewell to the season of Epiphany, the bright star of Bethlehem, and "Alleluias" as we commemorated our namesake, Martin Luther--both his death and his birth to eternal life.

We begin the season of Lent as we join together in the Solemn Observance of Ash Wednesday, with two worship opportunities 2:00pm & 7:00pm, beginning this week and continuing through April 5. In this edition of the eNews, be sure to check out the many opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship during this important season, and then make plans to participate. As we heard yesterday,  "We have become fools to think that we can be Christians detached from the Vine."

Therefore I encourage you all to find ways to be enriched this Lenten Season.

Blessings on Your Week -
Pastor Culynn

P.S. Due to my sinus-head cold, Bible Study for tonight at 7:00pm has been canceled. I will have handouts available next week.

To prepare for worship on Sunday
(March 5), you are invited to read:
Psalm 84

Luke 23:39-43
