Dear Friends in Christ -

2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation that was sparked by The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther, a German monk who challenged the tradition of the Medieval Church. Today and tomorrow, I will be leading the Augustana District's Theological Conference for pastors and lay people who will be coming from all across the country to study some of the key tenets of Luther's teachings.

The same is true in our congregation. In the coming weeks and months, we will be dealing with some of the key teachings of Martin Luther through some of our Lenten materials and other learning opportunities. It is my hope that we will grow in our particular confession so that we can share the rich heritage with everyone we meet.

Blessings on your week -
Pastor Culynn
