Dear Friends in Christ -

On Sunday, we heard of Peter's attempt to walk on water. Of course, that was all it was; it was an attempt. He didn't walk perfectly. He feared the wind when the Savior was an arm's length away. And that's our story too, we aren't perfect. But with the gift of God's grace, our hearts are made new, and we can trust Jesus to be with us even when we fail. That is what faith is all about - it gives us a new heart to trust Jesus more and more that we can try something new, crazy, and unexpected for the sake of the Kingdom. If you get out of the boat, you'll probably fail at walking on the water, but Jesus will be there to catch you!

Blessings on your week -
